Employment Opportunities

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Requirements:

High School Diploma
40 Hour RBT course
Acquire and maintain an RBT license through the BACB once course is complete

Pay rate is based on experience. This position is Hourly/Non-exempt status. Experience working with special needs children is preferred but not required.

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Requirements:

Masters Degree
Acquire and maintain a BCBA license through the BACB

Pay rate is based on experience. This position is Salaried/exempt status.

Wetherald Behavioral Academy - Teacher

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education, Education, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with students on job readiness and functional living skills.
Familiarity with assistive technology and educational software.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students’ varying needs and interests.
Collaborate with other teachers, parents and professionals to ensure student’s needs are met.
Create a positive and encouraging classroom environment that fosters student engagement and success.
Utilize technology and other resources to support students’ learning and development.
Maintain accurate and complete records of students’ progress and development.

Pay rate is based on experience.
